These have been my favorite products over the last month or so, and I see them all going deep into the summer with me! From the perfect moisturizer to my all time favorite lip stains, (that last ALL day!), check out my favorite products below!
L’oreal BB Cream…I love this BB cream, I put it on over moisturizer and its perfect for evening out my skin tone. (I hate wearing any kind of foundation through spring and summer. Plus I love that it’s got a bit of SPF in it for all these days we’re going to be spending outside!
Maybelline Master Fix…this is a great drugstore dupe for setting your makeup! I use it just under my eyes to set the concealer. Its really helped with those annoying undereye creases.
Bellapierre blush…I love this color, (especially matched with the revlon lip color I listed below!) but just in general, I love the light formula and the color is a perfect neutral for spring!
Neutrogena Water Gel..ahh I love this moisturizer! It literally feels like your moisturizing your face with water..its so light and cool, it makes my skin so smooth and soft. Its really nice, a little goes a long way, and I love that its not thick and heavy as these days get warmer and warmer!
bye bye undereye..I received this in my ipsy bag a couple months ago and it has been my go-to concealer! I have incredibly dark circles under my eyes, a lot of it is genetics..they’re blur and purple and a total mess, meaning they’re really hard to cover up. This concealer really, really works. And its waterproof so it really lasts all day. I love it so so much. I dab it on in sort of an upside down triangle shape, then blend with with a beauty blender and set it with the maybelline setting powder. I adore this concealer.
LUSH dry shampoo…someone had recommended this on instagram a couple months ago, I had screenshot it, and then it got lost in my camera roll. When I was out shopping with my mom, I remembered and popped in to pick one up. I love this stuff! It really soaks up any grease and oils, and adds awesome volume to my hair, the only downside is you kind of sprinkle it in versus spraying it like most dry shampoos, so if you’re not careful it can be a little messy, ending up on your clothes. But Ive learned ways around that and I love it enough to keep using it!
Redken Powder Grip…when I got my hair cut last month, my hairdresser used this stuff on my hair and I instantly fell in love. The volume it added was amazing, my hair didn’t fall flat for DAYSSS! So I bought myself some and love it! I sprinkle it in different sections of my scalp, kind of rub it in the way you would dry shampoo, and va va voom! so. much. volume! If you feel like your hair is falling flat half way through the day, rub your scalp up and it will be full of volume again, I love this stuff so much!
Loreal Mascara…Ive been using loreal voluminous for over a year and love it. When I went to replace it again recently, I saw this version and figured I would try this out instead. oh my. I LOVE IT. I only need 1-2 coats, and my lashes are fully covered, thick, long..its like magic. Usually with mascaras I have to do many coats to get it nice and thick and voluminous, but this stuff works fabulously. And you don’t want to overdo it, one, because you don’t need to, but two, because it works so well that if you do keep adding coats, it could start to clump your lashes. I love how quick it makes my makeup routine go!
Sonia Kashuk Velvety Matte lip crayon…in corally nude 01. This is such a pretty and fun color for spring and summer! It goes on nice and smooth and it’s the perfect color coral…not to pink, not to orange..I love it!
neuLASH…okay, this is majorly pricey, and something I wouldn’t normally just buy for fun. BUT, I have to shout out to it because its been magic so far. I’m going to do an entire before/after post about it so I’m not going to in depth. But, my lashes were sparse after having extensions, I was desperate, so I tried this out. I’m about six weeks into using it, and it really, really works! My lashes are so long, and hopefully still growing, (they say it takes about 12 weeks for full growth) so I’m excited but I definitely recommend it if you need some lash growth!
Revlon liquid lipstick…oh heaven, this stuff. I spent two hours at the makeup counters at Nordstrom a couple weeks ago testing out lip colors. Ive been looking for something seriously long lasting, you know, like alll day. I was looking for something for daily use, running errands, hanging out with the kids, so nothing to bright and crazy, right? My mom kept telling me about these Revlon ones and I kept brushing her off! ha! I fell in love with the MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolours, (the shade ‘personal statement’ is sooo pretty!) but I didn’t love any of them for daily wear. Finally I listened to her, (moms always right, huh?) and tried a couple shades out…IM IN LOVE! I wear the shade 075 Nude, paired with this MAC pro longwear lip pencil in ‘spice’, (listed below) and the combination lasts all day. I put it on first thing in the morning, let it set for 10-15 minutes, then I’m good, for the ENTIRE day. Through all my meals, coffee runs, smothering my kids faves with kisses, it doesn’t transfer, and it’s still on come 8 o’clock at night. TOTAL.MAGIC. I can’t wait to try out more colors, but for now, this one is my favorite for daily wear!
MAC Pro longwear lip pencil in ‘spice’…love this color…it pairs perfectly with the above lip color, and I love it on its own with just a clear gloss to slightly blend it inwards on my lips! It really does last all day, and its a great neutral! Definitely going to be picking up more of these in other colors!
