Tropical Smoothie

Tropical Smoothie If you haven’t noticed by my numerous smoothie posts lately..such as this, and this and this one…I’m on a complete smoothie binge! I just can’t help it! They’re so stinking delish with all the natural sweetness from the fruits, (no added sugars!) I get my whole fruit serving for the day in one glass, they’re filling so they really hold me over…and they’re just to simple. Throw it all in the blender, pulse, pour, and go! Such a great on the go snack!

I tend to drink a ton of smoothies after my workouts too..I don’t know..something so refreshing about them! Now that the warm weather is practically here, I’m sure I’m going to be getting even more use out of my blender! My little guy downs them too..I can’t say no to my little sweet pea!

This particular tropical smoothie is fantabulous! The sweet pineapple, mango, and strawberries, combined with the tart lime juice…throw in the Greek yogurt and you have a nice glass of sweet and just a hint of sour, creamy, creamy, goodness! Pure bliss! Healthy, refreshing, fruity! 😉 Dooo IT!

Tropical Smoothie

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Yield: 3 cups

Ingredients

  • 1 mango, peeled and pitted
  • 4 pineapple rounds (from a can...fresh if you have it!)
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice (from the can)
  • 5 large frozen strawberries
  • 1/3 cup Greek Nonfat Plain Yogurt
  • Juice of 1 lime

Directions

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and pulse until well mixed and creamy...the frozen strawberries act as the ice, so if necessary for consistency..add more!
