Hiiii, did you know we’re already halfway through the football season? Which means Christmas is already only 41 days away…how’s that for your Friday tidbit? You should probably start Christmas shopping soon so you don’t have to do it all last minute. (like myself in years past, ahem.) This year I’m on my game though! I’ve been slowly accumulating things since August, I wanted to be prepared in case I didn’t get much time to go shopping with a new babe. (Don’t worry though, I still get to go all the time 😉 ) But I digress.

The closer we come to the playoffs, the more exciting the games are, right? Which means we have even more people over for them, which means you need even more food…see how that works? I usually love to share football snacks but this year the games have been more low-key for us, with a newborn and all. But I had to make something! And for you non-football lovers out there, this chili is so good on any ol’ day of the week!

It’s probably one of my favorites Ive made, I know I have a few on this site, and I love them all, they’ve all been made numerous times, but this Smoky BBQ Pulled Pork Chili is where it’s at right now. Like most chili’s, its super easy to make, all in one pot, throw it in and let er’ cook. I made the pulled pork ahead of time, following this method, but you can use any pulled pork that you love. Slow cookers are a quick and easy way to get your pork tasty and tender!

The smoky pulled pork is heaven, but mix it in a big pot of chili with a jar of bbq sauce and your other favorite chili fixings and you’ve got a big bowl of warm love. Yes, chili is love. It’s one of my favorites to make every year once the weather cools, and we easily have chili 5-10 times in some form or another.

Add this wonderful chili to your dinner plans asap or sundays game! I promise you won’t be disappointed!
