A gorgeous and festive cocktail that is sweet, yet earthy with a little bite to it!
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmasssss….Kidding, kind of. I know next week is Thanksgiving, but like I’ve mentioned, we already decorated for Christmas, (& I knoooow I’m not the only one!), this drink is super festive, and they start selling Christmas trees around here on the 25th, so per tradition, we’ll be picking ours up on Friday. We used to do black Friday shopping, who knows, maybe we still will, but it’s a lot harder to do with two little kids and the all the crazies 😉
kiiiddding. not really, people go nuts on black Friday, I just don’t have it in me to wait in those lines or start a fight for the last item on the shelf. It’s pure entertainment to watch though..which may be part of the reason we used to show up to the mall at midnight…to watch the circus!
But now it sounds like we’d have to be there at 6pm, ON Thanksgiving. What in the holy hell is wrong with this country? Instead of spending the day with family and friends and being Thankful for all of it, people now have to spend the day lined up to buy that a TV or computer. I think its disgusting that companies started opening so early on Thanksgiving. It’s so unfair and so greedy. I’m going to stop now, because this fires me right up, and I like to try to keep it clean around here.
So! This pretty little drink would be a gorgeous addition to your Thanksgiving table, or any holiday party you’re hosting or attending this year! It’s festive and colorful, it’s tasty..slightly sweet, a bit earthy from the fresh sage, and a little bite to it from the ginger. It is is a perfect balance for everyone and will be quite a hit! Cheers!
