Does anyone else feel like Summer is just absolutely flyiiiiing by? I was Skyping with my mom yesterday, and we couldn’t get over how, Fall is only about 1 1/2 months away! (officially, anyways.) But, but, buttttttt, didn’t Summer just begin? Like last week?
We’re trying our absolute hardest to soak up every single ounce of our favorite season! We’re so grateful that the weather has been positively perfect every single day. We move in just a couple short weeks, (again), but I’m so excited for this now that we made the decision to just do it! I wish it was happening tomorrow.
Unfortunately, about a week after we move, my husband is heading off to Korea for a bit. But the bright side?! Family! Since he’s leaving, my in-laws are offering to buy plane tickets for my kids and I to go back east! And if we don’t end up doing that, my brother is going to come out and stay with us! I am ecstatic either way!
I’m incredibly close with my family, and my kids are in loooove with their grandparents, as they should be! So of course, living on the opposite end of the country can be kind of tough sometimes. Honestly though, in a way, it makes us closer and appreciate each other more.
We skype and talk on the phone constantly, when we are together we don’t waste a minute of it. For me, there is nothing better than my kids and my family. Every morning I wake up, and even if it’s way to early, or I know that I have a long day ahead of me, seeing my kids smiling faces, already brightens my day. My three year old runs in first thing every morning, and wakes me up by kissing my forehead, my nose, then my lips! Then we run down the hall to where my 20 month old is talking and laughing loudly in his crib. I mean, is there honestly a brighter way to wake up? I think not!
Well, maybe if my husband brought me coffee in bed every single morning too! 😉
My boys, even though sometimes give me really hard days, one of my favorite things about them, is that as fast as they might get upset about something, they’re mood just as quickly shifts to laughing and playing! And those smiles are bright, and contagious, and I cant help but smile back! My kids and my family brighten my life in more ways than they’ll know.
These sweet little boys are fruit and snack obsessed. I swear I can’t keep food in this house for long, I can only imagine what it’s going to be like in ten years…
We’ve been inhaling these frozen fruit bars lately! They’re sooooo good and they’re made with real fruit! When the mid-afternoon sun is at it’s highest, and we’ve been playing outside all day, there is seriously nothing better than something cool and sweet! So far we’ve tried the Fruttare Mango Flavor and the Coconut.Holy cow are these good! I am loooving the mango! So fabulous on their own, but rubbed with a little lime juice, and rolled in coconut flakes..just another fun way to enjoy them! (And they’re only 60 calories!)
I’m dying to try the Pineapple next! My kids would not stop at one! Some of my favorite photographs of these guys are when they’re all messy with frozen treats dripping down their arms, so cute! These bars have become a staple in our freezer this Summer, and I know you’ll enjoy them as much as we do!
