I looove citrus! This time of year is wonderful for citrus lovers like myself! Blood Orange Margaritas happen to be my MOST favorite kind! There are plenty of incredible treats out there that you can use blood oranges for and this smoothie just happens to be one of the easiest, but most delicious!
Ive said it before, but I LOVE smoothies. They’re such a great snack or in my case half the time my lunch. Sometimes, meaning every day, I get to busy to remember to eat lunch, and by the time I realize I’m hungry, its halfway to dinner time! Smoothies are quick, easy, and healthy!
This blood orange mango smoothie is creamy, slightly tart, a little sweet and fabulous! My little man and I inhaled the whole thing! Enjoy!
Ingredients
- 1 mango, cut into chunks and frozen
- 1/2 cup pineapple chunks
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/3 cup non-fat vanilla yogurt
- 3/4-1 cup freshly squeezed blood orange juice
- 1/2 teaspoon stevia (optional)
Directions
- Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
- Pour and serve!
