Smoked Sweet and Spicy Pizza

Smoky, Sweet, and Spicy make up this fantastic Pizza loaded with hot peppers, pineapple, and chicken! A simple combo, that creates an explosion of flavors!

Smoked Sweet and Spicy Pizza | Fabtastic Eats It’s amazing how long it takes to move out of a house, but how quickly it is moving into one. We must have spent at least 2-3 weeks before moving, packing boxes, puttying and painting walls, cleaning and cleaning, organizing, etc. And in a matter of 2-3 days we were almost completely unpacked, and settling in. The only thing to do now is hang pictures on the wall, and my husband has already started that.

Smoked Sweet and Spicy Pizza | Fabtastic Eats With this move, we decided to redo our entire master bedroom. It’s been due for an update, so we didn’t even bother taking any of the furniture with us, we’re starting completely from scratch. (Which means, yes, we’re sleeping on a mattress on the floor, and half of my wardrobe is being pulled from suitcases.) We’re on the hunt for everything from a new bureau, nightstands, headboard, comforter, lighting, reading chair, you name it.

SO! What are your favorite furniture and/or home decorating stores? Pinterest has been fun to plan and get ideas, but I also don’t want to spend a bazillion dollars on one room! So any suggestions or tips are VERY welcomed!

Smoked Sweet and Spicy Pizza | Fabtastic Eats In the interest of keeping dinners simple around here at the current moment, we’ve been eating lots of pizzas. I love to keep dough in the freezer, and it thaws out so quickly! This sweet and spicy pizza is one of the best combinations! I took the same hot and sweet peppers I used in these amaaaaazing burgers, and loaded them on a pizza, with some fresh pineapple, chicken, and lots of smoked flavoring! The combo is mouthwatering.

Smoked Sweet and Spicy Pizza | Fabtastic Eats My husband and I devoured this entire pizza in one sitting. It’s so darn good. I used this smoked seasoning from Trader Joe’s, but you can use whichever brand you’ve got. Don’t skip it, it adds a ton of great flavor! It’s such a simple pizza, there is not a lot to it, but sometimes that really is the best! And this is definitely one of those times! Enjoy!

Smoked Sweet and Spicy Pizza

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Cook Time: 12 minutes

Total Time: 30 minutes

Yield: 1-14" Pizza

Smoky, Sweet, and Spicy make up this fantastic Pizza loaded with hot peppers, pineapple, and chicken! A simple combo, that creates an explosion of flavors!

  • 1 pound Pizza Dough
  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 Tablespoon minced garlic
  • 2-3 teaspoons smoked seasoning, divided
  • 8 ounces fontina, freshly shredded
  • 6 hot and sweet cherry peppers, roughly chopped
  • 1 cup chunked pineapple, chopped
  • 1 cup cubed chicken

  1. Preheat oven with pizza stone in it to 425°
  2. If you've used the dough recipe I linked to above, that makes two pizzas. So divide the dough in half and reserve half for another time. (Store in the fridge or freezer, depending how soon you will use it.)
  3. Roll out dough into 12-14" circle.
  4. Brush the olive oil and the minced garlic evenly across the dough. Sprinkle with half of the smoked seasoning.
  5. Layer evenly with fontina, the chopped peppers, pineapple, and chicken. Sprinkle with the remaining smoked seasoning.
  6. Slide onto the pizza stone in the oven for 12-13 minutes, until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
  7. Remove, slice, and enjoy!

Congrats on the new house! And purdy jealous that you are already unpacked. I despise unpacking…you should see my house right now. Since we decided to stay in our condo for another year or so, we are under going some reviving of the place. Anddd funny you ask, we JUST bought a new master bedroom set! Its an espresso color and I am so giddy for it to be delivered. No more bachelorette pad here!

hahaha I hate unpacking too, my husband pretty much forced it on me to start right away, or else I probably would have dragged it out a few months! 😉 Decorating can be fun though! Where did you purchase your bedroom set from?! I neeed one!
