Easter Weekend 2016!

IMG_8260

Ive been pretty MIA this week because my parents surprised us with a visit and flew in last Friday night! It’s always so, so great having them here, and even more special when its a holiday. Being away from family during any holiday is always one of the hardest parts of living so far away, so it was definitely nice having a little piece of it here with us! 🙂

On Saturday morning we had our last soccer game for the season, (Tball is up next!) and then we surprised the boys with a trip to the circus with some friends! It was my first time ever too, and it was seriously fun and so cool…we all loved every minute of it! Afterwards we met up with my parents for one of the BEST dinners Ive had in quite a while..we totally splurged this weekend with our meals! But the shrimp and grits were worth every last calorie!

On Sunday we got up and did our Easter baskets, went to church and did the Easter egg hunt there, then headed out to brunch which was totally delicious. A cinnamon roll the size of my head and a mouthwatering breakfast pizza, don’t forget the mimosas! Later that day my dad and husband finally built the boys’ bunk beds and they were so excited! A full room reveal coming soon, just a few final touches to go!

Sorry for the photo overload, but I love these kinds of posts to look back on! I link my Easter look below! hope you all had a wonderful and happy Easter weekend! xo
